Students and families can register to attend the Third Annual Statewide FAFSA/CASFA Block Party and Student Resource Fair at the CU Denver Wellness Center courtesy of CU Denver from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. Students and families can get on-site FASFA/CASFA assistance, participate in scholarship giveaways, and access a resource fair with community exhibitors. Use these forms to register as a vendor or volunteer.

Register to join a webinar on Student End of Year coding. Topics include: 

• Postsecondary programs and program eligibility
• Tools for data respondents and program staff to use when collaborating to support students planning to attend a postsecondary program
• Student End of Year coding for students who will participate in ASCENT, P-TECH Years 5-6, or TREP in 2024-25
• Student End of Year coding for students who participated in postsecondary programs in 2023-24

Register to hear Jessica Martinez, former English language learner director of the year, speak about Strategic Goal Setting for Multilinguals at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22. Martinez will discuss how to plan with the end in mind, develop a vision, set goals and leverage collaborations using WIDA ACCESS data. Attendees will explore the common thread between Seal of Biliteracy, bilingual pathways and goal setting with CLDE directors, administration, teachers and students.

Colorado’s Academic Accelerator Program applications are due by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15. Intents to Apply are strongly encouraged and are due by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1.
