CASB believes that local school boards can only be as good as the quality of their leadership. To that end, we offer our members numerous training, education, and networking opportunities throughout the year in order to strengthen their board governance role. From conferences and workshops to regional meetings and our annual convention, our goal is to provide members with the knowledge and tools necessary for their school board leadership role.

 | CASB Annual Convention December 3-5, 2026 Our largest and most comprehensive conference with more than 1,200 CASB members in attendance. Members from across the state come to learn from prestigious keynote speakers and enlightening breakout sessions. We have an engaging exhibit hall and opportunities for sponsorships. | |
 | Winter Legislative Kick-Off TBD Board members and Legislators will connect at the Winter Legislative Reception the evening before the Capitol program where they visit the state capitol to observe the House and Senate from the floor and watch legislators in action at the education committee meetings. The student program is a half-day event. | |
 | Legislative Wrap-UpWednesday, May 20, 2026 CASB will be hosting its annual Legislative Wrap-Up webinar on Wednesday, May 20, from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link. | |
 | CASB Regional Meetings TBDAn opportunity for members from the same geographical region to share challenges and get updates on hot topics from CASB staff. Sponsorship opportunity available for regional meetings and McGuffey Award.
