The ECLC is required by legislation to convene a Transition Advisory Group (TAG), to learn from parents/families, members of the early childhood workforce, providers, school districts, human services leaders, Councils, and other stakeholders. 

The TAG will help advise the Transition Working Group, which is comprised of the Governor’s office, several state agencies, and the ECLC co-chairs, in developing recommendations to inform:

• (1) the development of a transition plan for the new state department by November 1, 2021 and
• (2) the universal preschool program by January 1, 2022.
