Register to hear the Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education speaker Grant Geis at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, in a virtual webinar. This session will highlight Grant's successes in District 49 as the Coordinator of linguistically diverse education for the past five years. During that time he started a grassroots movement for professional learning that focuses on increasing the rigor in teaching language arts for all students especially multilingual learners. Teachers, principals, directors, superintendents, and community partners are welcome to join to listen to Grant, connect with other CLDE leaders across the state, as well as participate in a question-and-answer segment with Grant.Register here.
