CSFP’s Annual State Profile Reports

CSFP’s Annual State Profile Reports

The 2021 State Profile compares audited data noting changes between 2019-20 to the base year of 1992. Data is audited which lags behind the current year. It is important to know that this data is pre-pandemic data. The 2019-20 school year is a good base year for looking at enrollment numbers for student populations when thinking about discussions around 5 year averaging for school districts.

Three reports from the state profile data:

  1. 2021 State Profile Overview (1-page overview)
  2. 2021 State Profile Charts & Highlights (2 pages)
  3. The 2021 State Profile Report (7 pages) includes a historical look at:
    1. Enrollment in K-12: Enrollment, Special Education, Free & Reduced Lunch, Emergent Bilinguals (English Language Learners according to CDE), and gifted students
    2. Teachers: Number of teachers, teachers per 1,000 students, average salary (comparing CO and National)
    3. Per Student Current Spending and Revenue
    4. Relationship between state/local revenue for K-12 and personal income

State profile data reports dating back to 1994 are available here on CSFP's website. School districts will receive district-level reports in early January.
