The deadline to apply for the Computer Science Teacher Education Grant and the Computer Science Education Grant has been extended to Tuesday, Sept. 13.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law allows EPA to prioritize certain applicants in the Clean School Bus (CSB) Program. Applicants requesting funds to replace school buses that serve a school district that meets one or more of the following prioritization criteria below will be offered more funding per bus and receive preference in the selection process in the 2022 Clean School Bus Rebates.
New guidance released today from the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) helps public elementary and secondary schools fulfill their responsibilities to meet the needs of students with disabilities and avoid the discriminatory use of student discipline.
These newly released resources are the most comprehensive guidance on the civil rights of students with disabilities concerning student discipline and build on the Department’s continued efforts to support students and schools through pandemic recovery.

The National School Lunch, School Breakfast, Afterschool Snack and School Milk programs reimbursement rates for School Year 2022-23 have been released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. All reimbursement rates include the temporary increase from the Keep Kids Fed Act of 2022.
Additionally, the lunch reimbursement rates include the performance-based 8 cent reimbursement. All Colorado sponsors receive the additional 8 cent except new sponsors that have not yet been certified for meeting the meal pattern requirements.
