Message from the Board President
In our struggle to provide students a quality education during drastic revenue shortfalls, what do schools need more than money? Leadership. CASB is focused on supporting boards of education across Colorado with ongoing leadership development. Our efforts to help boards lead include facilitating inter-district collaboration on the eastern plains, board development sessions on the front range, and engaging school leaders on the western slope. We recently completed an online workshop to help school leaders make better budget decisions, emphasizing strategic ways to manage the budget cutting process and communicate to local stakeholders. School boards across Colorado have difficult decisions to make in the weeks ahead. I'm confident they will do the best they can for kids, and CASB will be there to support them along the way.
