Over the years, NSBA has increased its commitment to educational equity. However, it has become painfully clear that our nation’s education system is a long way from providing equitable public education for all children. Therefore, NSBA’s leadership saw that it was time to develop the Dismantling Institutional Racism in Education (DIRE) initiative. Be part of the solution and join your colleagues for the 2021 Equity Online Symposium on Feb. 10, which will focus on the importance of DIRE to ensure the support that equalizes and improves the educational experience for every student.
