Community & Mental Health Supports available

Through the recent district needs inventory conducted by CDE and the Colorado Education Initiative, we heard consistently from schools and districts that educators, students and families are experiencing stress and crisis situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CDE staff has compiled available resources to support these community, housing, food and mental health needs.

The department will also host School Climate & Mental Health Office Hours on the following Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m.: Jan 6, Jan. 20 and Feb. 3. During these sessions, staff will answer questions, share promising practices and help identify resources to support students and staff.
