Apply to Participate in CDE's Dyslexia Pilot Program

CDE is accepting applications for schools to participate in a Dyslexia Pilot Program through Monday, Nov. 30.

The purpose of the program is to develop and pilot screening and identification processes and intervention strategies for K – 3 students who may have dyslexia. 
An informational webinar for the Dyslexia Pilot Program was held on Nov. 2 and a recording is posted on the Dyslexia Pilot Program website.

Participating schools will receive free training and support for teachers and up to $10,000 in funding for substitute teacher or teacher training stipend costs.

CDE will select schools for participation in the pilot program in late fall 2020 with implementation of the pilot program beginning in the 2021 calendar year and concluding at the end of the 2021-22 school year.
