Webinar on Multi-Tiered System of Supports by Design: Harnessing the Power of Universal Design for Learning Across Tiers
 

A webinar, “Multi-Tiered System of Supports by Design: Harnessing the Power of Universal Design for Learning Across Tiers,” will be offered from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Nov. 6. The webinar will focus on how the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework serves to eliminate barriers to student learning that are inherent to classrooms.  

This presentation will address the integration of Multi-Tiered System of Supports and UDL as a model to identify systemic achievement gaps, inequitable access to instruction and lowered post-secondary outcomes.

Kevin Schaefer, director of program Support, at El Dorado County (Calif.) Office of Education/Supporting Inclusive Practices Project will lead the discussion.
