Meeting Purpose:  

·  Identify practices that your region is currently implementing to support early childhood and school mental health, 

·  Identify challenges your region is facing in supporting child and adolescent mental health, 

·  Identify priorities for informing local- and state-level advocacy and policy work, and 

·  Discuss issues associated with the pandemic. 

 The meeting will be facilitated by Vincent Atchity, PhD (President & CEO), Sarah Younggren, LCSW (Child & Adolescent Initiatives Manager), and Jean Cimino, MPH (Early Childhood Mental Health Contractor) with Mental Health Colorado. 

The resources that serve as the foundation for this work are the Early Childhood Mental Health Toolkit and the School Mental Health Toolkit.  These toolkits provide a community with best practices for implementing a comprehensive approach to mental health supports to promote a strong start for all children.
