School Board Candidates: Start Your Engines!
Invite your local school board candidates to get a jump-start on their school board service with this interactive workshop. They’ll gain wisdom on key components of board service, hear real world lessons learned in the trenches and receive helpful take-home materials.

Local Challenges & Legislative Solutions: A Casual Conversation
Engage in informal conversations with other board members in your region about state and federal laws that impact your local community. Discuss obstacles to local control and generate ideas that may be put forward as floor resolutions to be considered at CASB’s Delegate Assembly on Oct. 12.

SB 213 and Initiative 22: What Does it Mean for School Boards?
Get the latest insights on the income tax increase ballot initiative to support SB 213 and raise one billion new dollars for Colorado’s public schools. We’ll discuss the implications of SB 213, how districts will be impacted by the new per pupil funding model, and the proposed new funding requirements of Amendment 23.

Harnessing the Power of School Board Leadership
Join CASB's President Matt Cook, your regional CASB Board of Directors and CASB staff for small and large group conversations about leadership challenges in local issues and state policy.
