Tools to Help You Plan Your Convention Experience
2008 ANNUAL CONVENTION INFORMATION
Now is the time for action. Outdated teaching practices of a bygone era no longer provide our students what they need for a future adults can only begin to imagine. It is time to breathe life into the knowledge you’ve gained about educating in the 21st century. It is time to embed leading locally, thinking globally into your school board legacy, and to transform learning into a rich, productive life for our children.
For the past two years, CASB’s Convention, Lead Locally, Think Globally, informed you of the challenges students face in this changing world and informed you of tools to provide the best education for students. Use this knowledge and send your students into the future prepared, interested and strong.

Show your pride by displaying your district banner!
“How does our district get a banner?” The L.C.F. Garment Factory will again produce banners for districts for only $70. Banners are 5’ wide by 3’ high, lightweight nylon with high-quality embroidered artwork. Pick your banner color (see order form) and specify embroidery colors on your artwork. Bolder colors are more easily seen from a distance. You will find an order form on the back.
“Our district already has a banner.” If you would like to display your banner, send it to CASB so that it will be included with the others during the first general session on Friday, December 5, 2008. Existing banners must be 5’ wide by 3’ high with grommets in the top corners.
All banners must be received in the CASB office by Friday, November 21, 2008.
